A festive, celebratory birthday email built around a gift-code hero and one delighted call to action.

Birthday automations should feel like a gift, not a promotion, so the brief was pure celebration. We used a rich plum-and-amber palette with a heavy Fraunces display face and a confetti-and-balloons hero to set a festive tone the moment the email opens. The flow triggers on the contact's birthday date field and personalizes both the headline greeting and the unique gift code, so every recipient sees their own name and a code tied to their account.
The single conversion focus is the gift-code hero card: a large dollar value, a dashed-border code chip, and a clear validity window remove every question a recipient might have. There is intentionally only one CTA, 'Treat myself,' to keep the moment uncluttered and joyful, and conditional logic can scale the reward value by loyalty tier without changing the template.
The gift-code card and CTA are bulletproof presentation tables with inline styles, and a dedicated .code media rule shrinks the letter-spaced code so it never wraps awkwardly on a phone. The hero is a curl-verified Unsplash photo with alt text, the preheader leads with the dollar amount for inbox appeal, and the rounded-pill CTA stays high-contrast against the dark frame for accessibility.
We'll tailor it to your brand, audience, and goals.
