A friendly, light post-delivery email with a tappable star-rating row and a short, sincere ask.

Review requests live or die on friction, so the brief was to make rating feel like one tap. We used a friendly, warm-light palette in Bricolage Grotesque with the purchased product front and center, opening with a personal '2 weeks in' eyebrow and a 'How did we do?' headline. The automation triggers a set number of days after the delivered event and merges the customer name, the specific product, and the purchase date so the ask is unmistakably relevant.
The conversion mechanic is an inline five-star rating row where each star is its own deep-link, so a single click both opens the review form and pre-selects the score. A small incentive ('$10 off your next order') lifts completion, and a soft-landing band routes unhappy customers to a private 'tell us what happened' reply instead of a public one-star, protecting the rating while still capturing the feedback.
The star row is a presentation table of individually linked cells with a .star media rule that scales the glyphs and padding for thumb-friendly tapping on mobile. The product shot is a curl-verified Unsplash image with alt text and fixed dimensions, the preheader frames the 30-second ask, and the pill CTA plus high-contrast amber stars keep the email accessible and on-brand.
We'll tailor it to your brand, audience, and goals.
